When we last left The Good Doctor, he was unpacking his fishing gear after a bad day on the lake. He spoke to Barky Lizardo, in hushed tones... "Nobody owns life, but anyone who can pick up a frying pan owns death."

Good day to you, and to all the ships at sea. Once again it's time for a few minutes with The Good Doctor.  You know the drill... A lead story, a few adult theater related news nuggets, an opinion or two, and capped off by a photo of The Good Doctor in a public place.

Let's get started, shall we?

My beloved East coast has made it through Sandy's fury, and two of the adult theaters right in her wheelhouse made it through with flying colors. 

• I spoke with Ernie, owner of Hartford's awesome Art Cinema, and besides two broken windows in the apartment above the theater, made it through scott free. Add to that they had a busy couple's week even after the storm is a testament to the loyalty of The Art Cinema's customers.
• Berlin, NJ's Berlin News Agency didn't miss a beat, and was open the day after the storm with no problems whatsoever.  What BNA did have was an incredibly busy week of couple's and single lady visits to the theater (42 couples and 11 single ladies since last Sunday).

So with all adult theaters accounted for, I will shut down the Journal's Weather Center Quad Dopler 400 for another season.

This coming week may be one of the strongest I have ever seen in terms of reports. I edited 8 reports on Saturday afternoon and evening, and there are even more in the pipeline. Here's a little preview of the week ahead:

• Published earlier today was an introduction of the self titled Theaterslut Jasmine. This European woman craves adult theater sex and the gloryhole scene, and provided a gallery of pics to The Good Doctor.  The pics range from G to XXX Rated. Check out this smoking hot report HERE.
• Another newcomer making her debut Monday morning at The Journal is the very naughty 0wlishly. Her first report covers a recent trip to Horse Cave, KY and it's theater.  It's a page turner folks... And not to spoil anything, but a little birdie told me she returned last night (Saturday 11/3) to Horse Cave and put on a hot, wet show (interactive mind you) for the ages!
• The force of nature known as Hurricane Koral returns Monday AND Tuesday afternoon for an incredible two-part report on a visit to Airport Video in Seattle (Everett). Included in this series are over 20 brand new hardcore pics of the actual event.
• Two reports from Swingshift Theatre in Richmond Hill, Ontario go online this week from reporters The Guy Next Door and Dan Do Right. Things are picking up nicely in Toronto's northern burbs.

I continue to get terrific feedback from Toledo and the newly re-opened Westwood Art Theatre.  What I need is a Flash Report or three from there... In a conspiracy just shy of the Roswell Crash, my good friend MajorVoyeur has had to re-launch his terrific blog several times due to TOS carpet bombing. He is a pioneer in this thing of ours blogging, and deserves much better.

 

The good news is that his new Tumblr site HERE is running smoothly, and chock filled with filthy pics, theater reports from the St. Louis area, and his trademark sense of humor.  Support him and his work HERE.  Plus, he is an excellent driver.

Lastly, I want to thank you, the good readers of The Journal of Adult Theaters.  Last week, The Journal passed the 2 million pageviews mark. October readership went up 13% over September, which itself was a record breaking month for volume. 

I have tried to standardize the new report posting times at The Journal over the last 2 months. You will get a report on weekdays at 6am CDT, another at 3pm CDT, and if need be, one later in the evening. Weekends will have 1-2 new reports per day (8am and 5pm CDT).  The only thing that will hamper this schedule is a lack of reports from the field.

You provide the details, and if you get a chance, take a pic of the OUTSIDE of the theater.
